Project Manager Germany (Battery Energy Storage Systems)
- Lead the technical and financial delivery of large-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects from the contracting phase through construction, commissioning and handover to Operations.
- Manage the project schedule, budget, quality, safety and monthly reporting, while coordinating EPC contractors, battery suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
- Provide technical input during contracting and ensure engineering solutions, site design, transport, connections and construction requirements comply with GIGA Storage standards and German regulations.
- Act as the project owner for external stakeholders, including the TSO, local authorities, permitting bodies and surrounding communities.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of working and thinking, preferably in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
- Proven experience managing complex, multidisciplinary construction or infrastructure projects that combine civil, electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Demonstrable experience with EPC and/or FIDIC contracts.
- Fluency in German, both spoken and written, including technical communication, and a good command of the English language.
- Strong financial awareness and experience monitoring project budgets, forecasts and reporting.
- A structured, proactive and hands-on approach, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge contractors and technical specialists when needed.
- Experience with substations, BESS, large PV installations, data centres, power plants, energy infrastructure, industrial facilities or utility-scale renewable energy projects is considered a strong advantage.
- End-to-end ownership: you are involved from contracting through final handover and can influence both the technical solution and project execution.
- Large-scale impact: you will deliver battery storage projects that play a direct role in Germany's energy transition.
- A key position in Germany: you will help establish GIGA Storage's German project portfolio, with several projects planned in succession.
- Broad technical scope: you will coordinate civil, electrical and construction disciplines without being limited to one specialist area.

- Performance Based Bonus Plan, based on company and individual performance, with a maximum of 10% to 20% of your gross annual (12 months) salary, depending on your seniority level.

- The Company will contribute 2.0% of your gross annual salary to an individual pension insurance policy.
- After one year of employment, the contribution will increase to 3.0% of your gross annual salary.

- Personal Development Budget of €750,- per year.
