We are currently seeking a Junior Legal Counsel based out of our Dortmund office.

• To facilitate generation of business/support Swisslog's success on Corporate, Divisional and Local Management level by providing effective, solution-oriented legal support.
• To reduce risk exposures of all Swisslog companies and of the Swisslog Group as a whole.
• General legal support of corporate, divisional and local management including e.g. sales forces, purchasing and project managers.
• Legal advice and support in connection with contractual issues e.g. contract negotiations with customers and suppliers in a fast-paced warehouse & logistics automation environment.
• EMEA-wide support in contract negotiations, utilizing contract standards like MF1, FIDIC and Orgalime.
• Developing and establishing of standard contracts, standard general conditions and minimum legal standards to be used and adhered to in contracts or in other areas.
• Co-ordinating and monitoring of external lawyers.
• Group-wide claims reporting on a quarterly basis.
• Monitoring, managing, controlling and coordinating of arising major claims and administrative disputes in various jurisdictions.
• Regular training of Corporate, Divisional and Local Management, Project Managers and Sales and Purchasing Forces in legal issues.

What you need to succeed

• You have degree in law (e.g. Second State Examination, LL.M. or Business Law)
• First experience in a law firm or a similar corporate environment.
• Assertiveness, negotiation skills and a high degree of loyalty
• Ability to work self-organized in line with the companies’ priorities in an efficient, resilient and flexible manner.
• Excellent communication skills and ability for cross-functional teamwork and experience in management of a variety of stakeholders
• Fluent in German and English language
