Software Integration Architect

Cologne | ~ 4 days remote / 1 day office | Travel Package

We are currently recruiting for an IT Software Integration Expert (m/w/d) at a leading niche insurance provider.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the analysis, implementation, and further development of various integration scenarios.

We are looking for a Software Engineer with at least 3 years of professional experience, who brings solid experience in planning and integrating APIs and other interfaces. Key requirements include at least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer working with either C# and/orJava and/or Python - as well as at least 1 year of experience with API and interface planning and integration, and good German and English skills (B2).

| WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Drive the analysis, design, implementation, and evolution of diverse integration scenarios for our IT systems.

* Safeguard the IT landscape's integration readiness through strategic interface and data flow design and oversight.

* Play an active role in evaluating and adopting novel integration technologies and industry standards.

* Prepare comprehensive documentation for integration solutions and develop core architectural concepts.

* Engage in close cooperation with specialized departments and other IT divisions.

* Help shape and ensure compliance with IT security and regulatory guidelines specific to integration projects.

* Offer expert guidance and assistance in addressing intricate integration-related issues.

* Execute rigorous testing and quality assurance procedures for deployed integration solutions.

| WHOM WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* A minimum of three years' professional experience as a Software Engineer, including at least one year focused on API and interface design and integration.

* Demonstrated proficiency in both German and English (B2 level).

* Competence in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) combined with a robust comprehension of integration architectures and tools (e.g., Microservices, API Gateways).

* An understanding of data modeling (ErWin), process modeling (EPK), and UML is a plus, though not a strict requirement.

| REMOTE WORK POLICY

In this role, you can work hybrid remote (4 days remote) from the office in Cologne. Should you relocate or travel for this role, your relocation or travel expenses will naturally be covered.
