CMDB Architect (m/w/d)

Aufgaben:

For a key project for our customers in the fibre optics business, we are looking for a ServiceNow Platform Architect (m/f/d).

The person will lead the design & implementation of CMDB

Your tasks include:
+ lead the design and implementation of a CMDB within ServiceNow
+ steer the overall approach, make key design decisions, and validate the work delivered by third-party vendors
+ implement CMDB components to demonstrate best practices
+ ensure a high-quality and sustainable CMDB that is well aligned with the operational needs

Anforderungen:

CMDB Architecture & Design:
+ Proven expertise in designing and maintaining complex CMDB structures within ServiceNow ITOM
+ Experience modelling CI classes and relationships (dependencies, service hierarchies)
+ Experience managing multi-source CMDBs integrating data from tools such as TNI, FNT Command, SolarWinds, or StableNet is a clear advantage

Discovery & Service Mapping:
+ Strong experience designing and maintaining Discovery schedules, patterns, and credentials
+ Proven success implementing Service Mapping topologies and business service views
Integrations
+ Deep understanding of MID Server architecture, REST API, Import Sets, and Integration Hub
+ Experience consolidating configuration data from third-party systems (e.g., TNI → CMDB)

Data Governance & Quality:
+ Expertise in CMDB Health Dashboards, reconciliation rules, and data normalization
+ Strong familiarity with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM v4/v5)

Process Understanding
+ Knowledge of ITSM and ITOM integration points (Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Asset).
+ Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA)
