As a Finance Business Partner SP&M with a focus on the portfolio, you will support our strategic initiatives with a clear view of value creation.
In this role, you will act as a co-pilot for the business, translating strategy into figures – and figures into concrete decisions.

• You develop and maintain budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial models that are fully aligned with the overall portfolio strategy.
• Portfolio objectives are translated into robust financial plans, while capital allocation and new investments are assessed through solid business case analyses such as NPV, ROI and payback.
• An active role is taken in the portfolio steering process as well as in regular review sessions for development projects.
• The analysis of variances between actuals and forecasted figures at both portfolio and segment level forms an important basis for informed decision‑making.
• You generate clear insights into revenue trends, cost efficiencies and ROI and share them transparently with the business.
• Close collaboration with product and solution managers, R&D and commercial teams ensures that financial targets and portfolio strategy remain fully aligned.
• In addition, you work on the optimisation and standardisation of financial processes to strengthen accuracy, efficiency and compliance with internal controls, financial policies and audit standards.
• A strong partnership with the Finance Business Partner Technology & Software is essential, including acting as deputy when required (and vice versa).
• As a true co‑pilot, you translate strategy and financial insights into concrete, prioritised actions and support the business in executing them.

What you need to succeed

• You bring strong experience in financial modelling, variance analysis and the management of P&L and balance sheet structures.

• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and SAP enables you to work efficiently and with precision.

• A solid understanding of portfolio management principles allows you to interpret market developments and investment outcomes with confidence.

• Building strong relationships comes naturally to you, and you are able to engage non‑financial stakeholders effectively.

• With a strategic and critical mindset, you assess investment options, challenge assumptions and identify relevant financial risks and opportunities.

• Experience in driving cross‑functional initiatives strengthens your ability to facilitate sound, data‑driven decisions.

• Your communication and advisory skills help you present complex topics in a clear, structured and audience‑appropriate way.

• You are fluent in German and English.

• A deep understanding of business models and operational processes enables you to challenge and influence stakeholders constructively.

• A structured, solution‑oriented working style combined with strong initiative completes your profile.
